    Erasmus+ Programme

The 2023 “Web 4.0 and Virtual Worlds” Communication sets the vision and strategy of the EU Commission that transforms Vocational Education and Training, accelerating its economic and social potential through exploiting the benefits of the technological transition while preparing the younger generation for the labour market evolving needs. Emerging technologies correspond to various applications and services including Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) among others, which are now labeled as XR-Extended World replacing the term “metaverse” in favor of “virtual worlds”.
